22 Mar 1762
Isaac Beacham, Plaintiff against Benjamin GWILLIAMS, defendant.
On an attachment against the Defs. estate. The plaintiff proved the justness of this demand for three pounds one shilling and one penny by the oaths of Joseph Calland and Robert Sharpe. He is to recover the said sum together with his costs and William Clarke the garnishee is to pay the three shillings and three pence, in his hands to the plaintiff and the sheriff is to sell the snuff box of the defendants estate in the garnishees hands and pay the money arising by such sale to the plaintif towards the discharge of this judgment.
[NB It appears that the above Benjamin GUILLIAMS/GWILLIAMS is related to the GUILLIAMS of North Farnham Parish and not the GILLIAMs of St. Peter’s Parish, nor those of Albemarle Parish—the Beachams via the Hills and Suggetts are associated with that line, also the plural of GILLIAM is used almost exclusively with that line.]
